ICAP Alumni Event at COP31 (November 2026)
ICAP alumni and others interested in emissions trading are invited to an informal reception on the margins of COP31, the UN Climate Change Conference, taking place in Antalya, Türkiye. The reception will be held at the EU Pavilion on November 18, 2026, from 18:30-20:00 local time and will offer a space to reconnect with fellow alumni, meet colleagues working on emissions trading, and strengthen the global ICAP alumni network.

ICAP Alumni Event at Innovate4Climate (I4C) 2026 (May 2026)
Alumni of previous ICAP ETS capacity building courses were invited to gather for an informal drinks reception at Innovate4Climate (I4C) 2026, the World Bank’s annual conference on carbon pricing and carbon markets, which took place in Singapore. The reception was held on 21 May 2026 in Singapore and offered a space to reconnect with fellow alumni and colleagues interested in ETS capacity building activities, exchange experiences, and strengthen the global ICAP alumni network.

ICAP Alumni Virtual Workshop (invitation only) (October 2023)
ICAP boasts a large and diverse network of alumni spanning across the globe. These individuals have participated in various courses offered by ICAP over the years. Leveraging their extensive experiences across several generations of courses and real-world applications, we recognize the value of using their insights to facilitate knowledge sharing and advance ETS. The ICAP Alumni Virtual Workshop was the first of a series of semi-structured sessions designed to help participants maintain connections, foster learning opportunities, and provide inspiration. This initiative aims to support the development of emissions trading while nurturing a vibrant community of carbon market professionals.

Conference for Alumni of the ICAP Summer Schools and Training Courses (March 2023)
ICAP held its first Alumni Conference, bringing together selected alumni from more than 20 Summer Schools and Training Courses on Emissions TRading implemented since 2009. The three-day conference took place in Berlin, Germany, from 22 to 24 March 2023.
