Summer Schools

From 7–11 September 2026, ICAP will host the Asia ICAP Summer School, a five-day regional seminar on emissions trading system (ETS) design and implementation in Bangkok, Thailand. The course brings together government officials and stakeholders from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam for an intensive, interactive introduction to carbon pricing, building on ICAP's long-running Summer School programme.

ICAP ETS Summer School 2026 in Asia | International Carbon Action Partnership

After a three-year hiatus, the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP) resumes in-person trainings with the 2022 edition of its flagship training activity, the two-week ICAP Summer School on Emissions Trading. The training will take place in Florence, Italy, from 22 August to 2 September 2022. Application deadline is Monday, 11 July 2022. Participation in the Summer School is open to applicants from emerging economies and developing countries.

From 16 August to 10 September 2021, the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP) convened its first ICAP Online ETS Academy, implemented by the Ecologic Institute, ICF International and get2C in cooperation with the Asia Society Policy Institute, and funded by the European Commission.
