ICAP Alumni Event at Innovate4Climate (I4C) 2026

Since 2009, training and capacity building for participants from emerging economies and developing countries have been a core part of the work by the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP). In more than 20 summer schools, regional training courses, ETS masterclasses and other formats, participants have received in-depth training to design and implement emissions trading systems as a tool for climate change mitigation. Under the current project phase, running from January 2026 to December 2028, these activities continue under the auspices of ICAP, with support for jurisdictions that are exploring, designing, or strengthening emissions trading systems.

This alumni event is the first alumni gathering under the new project phase. It is designed to strengthen and reactivate ICAP’s global alumni network by creating space for peer learning, informal exchange, and continued cooperation across regions. It also aims to create channels for alumni to contribute to future trainings and outreach activities under the project.

Held on the margins of Innovate4Climate 2026 in Singapore, the event will bring together alumni who are already participating in I4C as well as past speakers from ICAP training courses
As part of the registration form, applicants are asked to provide the following details:
•    Which ICAP training or capacity building activity they participated in (should be 5 days or longer)
•    Whether the participant is already attending I4C 2026 (Registration for I4C 2026 is open now).
