The Republic of Korea joins ICAP as an observer

The Republic of Korea has joined ICAP as the third observer to the partnership on August 5, 2010.

In December 2009, the Republic of Korea promulgated the Framework Act on Low Carbon, Green Growth. The Act specifies the need to prepare necessary legislative measures for the introduction of an emissions trading system.
