On 29 November 2016, the ADB and ICAP launched a regional platform for knowledge sharing on the development and linking of ETS in Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand.
The platform functions as a regional forum for policymakers and stakeholders involved in the development of carbon markets to exchange knowledge and learn from each other’s experiences in this field. A number of regional policymakers from ten jurisdictions attended the inception meeting and engaged in a fruitful exchange on the state of play and prospects for carbon pricing in their jurisdictions.
