ICAP and the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) are partnering to organize a Virtual Carbon Market Pavilion.

Held 11-12 November 2020, the Virtual Pavilion will feature a two-day program of high-level discussions, side events, and interactive sessions, along with an informal carbon markets networking arena for people to connect and stay in touch.

The postponement of COP26 in Glasgow to November 2021 risks delaying climate negotiations but may also affect the momentum for carbon pricing observed across multiple jurisdictions in recent years. IETA and ICAP want to create an opportunity to engage relevant stakeholders from the international community in discussions and exchanges centered around carbon markets and priorities for carbon pricing in the years ahead.

A detailed program will be shared shortly.

Please send an expression of interest detailing your concept for a session by Friday, 18 September to Lisa Spafford (spaffordatieta [dot] org (spafford[at]ieta[dot]org)) and the ICAP Secretariat (secretariataticapcarbonaction [dot] com (secretariat[at]icapcarbonaction[dot]com)).
